Founder & CEO

After working as a software developer for a few years, I joined Inductis in 2006, a startup which pioneered analytics (at a time when data science not the sexiest job). We got acquired by EXL (Nasdaq: EXLS), and over the next 15 years at EXL Analytics, I donned multiple hats, primarily serving US financial services companies. As one of the leaders, I contributed significantly to the growth of practice to 300 MM in ARR. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to get deep lessons around applying edge AI to documents like contracts, insurance claim notes, filing documents, etc.

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 was a turning point. As businesses scrutinized their contracts more closely than ever, I conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of colleagues, clients, and industry experts in legal, procurement, finance, and sales. I soon realized that orgs rarely treat contracts as a business asset, and that most existing solutions (back then!) were overtly complex, costly and have too much bloat around workflows.

In late 2021, I partnered with legal, tech and AI experts and founded ContractKen. Our mission is to build world's best lawyer focused solution for pre-signature tasks around contract drafting, review and negotiations.
